American Battery Technology Company reported record fiscal 2026 revenue and positive adjusted gross profit as the domestic critical minerals producer increased throughput at its battery recycling operations.

Revenue increased 407% to $21.7 million from $4.3 million in fiscal 2025, driven by greater recycling facility throughput, increased byproduct production and improved product pricing.

While revenue increased more than fivefold, cost of goods sold rose 67% to $24.8 million as operational efficiencies improved production economics.

Adjusted gross profit improved to positive $1.7 million from an adjusted gross loss of $6.2 million a year earlier. On a GAAP basis, gross loss was approximately $3.1 million.

ABTC also significantly strengthened its balance sheet. Cash increased to $49.5 million from $7.5 million, total assets rose to $132.8 million from $84.5 million, and the company ended fiscal 2026 with no outstanding debt.

The Reno-based company develops technologies for domestic battery material recycling and primary critical mineral manufacturing, targeting materials needed for electric vehicles, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics.

ABTC is pursuing an integrated strategy spanning recycling, mineral resources and processing.

Management is continuing to scale its first commercial recycling facility while developing a second commercial recycling facility and advancing the Tonopah Flats Lithium Project.

The company believes combining recycling with domestic lithium resources and its internally developed processing technologies can establish a larger U.S.-based supply of battery materials and reduce reliance on foreign critical-mineral supply chains.

Fiscal 2026 represented the strongest financial year in ABTC’s history and demonstrated that higher production volumes can materially improve the economics of its recycling operations.
