American Equipment Solutions has acquired BC Wire Rope & Rigging, expanding its lifting and rigging capabilities across the Western United States. And American Equipment is a national provider of overhead crane and hoist solutions and a portfolio company of Rotunda Capital Partners.
BC Wire Rope is headquartered in Anaheim, California and operates six branch locations across California, Arizona and Nevada.
Founded in 1974, the company supplies wire rope, slings, chain, hoists and rigging equipment to customers throughout the Western United States.
Its operations include in-house assembly and testing capabilities as well as same-day jobsite delivery.
The acquisition combines BC Wire Rope’s rigging and below-the-hook capabilities with American Equipment’s overhead crane installation, inspection, service and modernization operations.
The combined platform is designed to provide customers with a broader lifecycle offering covering overhead cranes, hoists, rigging equipment and related services.
American Equipment provides OSHA-mandated inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, engineering, parts, ISO-certified fabrication, new and replacement equipment, automated systems, modernization and training.
Its customers span industries including light and heavy industrial, automotive, mining, public utilities, military, aerospace and defense, and energy.
The acquisition extends American Equipment’s geographic reach and further develops its strategy of building a national mission-critical material handling platform.
