Ameriprise Financial has added financial advisors Lee Winters III and Chris McClure to its branch channel from Wells Fargo Clearing Services, bringing approximately $160 million in client assets.
The Columbia, South Carolina-based advisors are joined by Client Service Associate Darragh James.
Winters and McClure cited Ameriprise’s technology, artificial intelligence capabilities, wealth management platform and collaborative culture among the factors behind their move.
The team highlighted the firm’s CRM and client-facing technology as well as the Ameriprise Signature Wealth Program, which is designed to streamline advisory workflows and create additional capacity for client relationships.
They will be supported locally by Branch Manager Tor Bennstrom and Regional Vice President Michael Rearden.
Ameriprise said approximately 1,700 experienced financial advisors have joined the company over the past five years.
The firm operates a nationwide network of more than 10,000 financial advisors.
