Ameriprise Financial announced financial advisors Bryan Hildebrand and Hayden Hildebrand have joined Community Wealth Services, a financial advisory practice within the Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group (AFIG) in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The father-son team, along with client service specialist Abigail Sibley, joined from Edward Jones and brings nearly $190 million in client assets, according to the company. Community Wealth Services provides advice and investment services to clients of Community Bank of Louisiana.
Bryan Hildebrand said the move was driven by a desire to align with a firm focused on client service while expanding the team’s planning and solution set. He also pointed to the long operating histories of both Ameriprise and Community Bank of Louisiana as supportive of the partnership.
Hayden Hildebrand said Ameriprise’s financial planning depth and access to more sophisticated solutions were key factors, positioning the team to deliver more comprehensive strategies and deepen relationships with existing and new clients.
Ameriprise also highlighted the broader scale of Community Wealth Services within Community Bank of Louisiana’s investment program. The program includes four financial advisors and two support staff serving clients with more than $300 million in combined brokerage assets.
AFIG works with banks and credit unions to expand wealth and advice offerings, providing planning and investment products, technology capabilities, and advisor recruiting, coaching, and support, Ameriprise said.
Community Bank of Louisiana, founded in 1901, is locally owned and operated and serves communities across North Louisiana, the bank said.
Ameriprise has been serving clients for more than 130 years and operates a nationwide network of approximately 10,000 financial advisors. The company also noted that investment products are not insured by the FDIC or other federal agencies and involve investment risk, including possible loss of principal.
