Ameriprise Financial announced that financial advisors Jeff Flamm and Kevin Smith have joined its independent channel, bringing approximately $140 million in client assets.
The advisors transitioned from Key Investment Services, LLC to join Beyond Wealth Advisors, an established Ameriprise-affiliated practice led by Joshua Lake. The team operates across Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, as well as Richmond, Indiana.
Flamm and Smith cited a desire for greater ownership, enhanced financial planning capabilities, and a collaborative team environment as key drivers behind the move. Ameriprise’s independent channel offers advisors the ability to operate autonomously while leveraging the firm’s technology, planning tools, and broader support infrastructure.
Beyond Wealth Advisors currently includes 11 financial advisors and 11 support staff, managing more than $1.1 billion in combined client assets. The addition of Flamm and Smith is expected to further strengthen the practice’s capabilities and client service offering.
Ameriprise continues to attract experienced advisors to its platform, with approximately 1,700 advisors joining the firm over the past five years, reflecting ongoing momentum in its advisor recruitment strategy.
