Sher Jeshiva Group, a financial advisory team managing $470 million in client assets, has joined Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP) from Wells Fargo Clearing Services. The practice is based in Melville, New York and Naples, Florida, and is led by financial advisors Glen Sher and Michael Jeshiva, joined by financial advisor Philip Basile and registered client service associate Kathryn Acer-Richard. The team will operate within Ameriprise’s branch channel, supported locally by Branch Manager Aaron Wolson, Complex Director Kevin Peters, and Regional Vice President Todd Hubley.
The move is part of a broader advisor recruitment trend at Ameriprise, which has attracted approximately 1,700 experienced financial advisors over the past five years. More than 90% of Sher Jeshiva Group’s existing clients have committed to transitioning with the team to Ameriprise.
