Ameritas has named Kelly Halverson Executive Vice President of its Individual Division, effective September 1, 2026.
Halverson succeeds Ryan Beasley, who is retiring, and previously served as Ameritas’ Senior Vice President, Individual Chief Actuary and Underwriting.
In his new role, Halverson will lead the continued growth of the Individual Division while overseeing efforts involving innovation and digital transformation.
Halverson began his career with Ameritas as an actuarial intern and has subsequently held increasingly senior positions across product, actuarial and underwriting functions.
He has also worked on strategic initiatives, organizational growth, talent development and collaboration with distribution partners and field organizations.
Outside Ameritas, Halverson serves on the LIMRA Annuity Advisory Board, where he works with industry executives on trends affecting retirement and annuity markets.
Ameritas provides products spanning life insurance, annuities, disability income insurance, dental, vision and hearing insurance, retirement plans, investments, asset management and public finance.
