Amino Health: Digital Healthcare Navigation Company Raises $10 Million

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jun 3, 2024

Amino Health, a leading digital healthcare navigation company, announced a $10 million funding round led by Transformation Capital. This funding will be used to accelerate Amino’s AI product roadmap for building personalized patient care journeys. This latest funding round follows Transformation Capital’s $30 million investment in May 2023.

Amino Health’s care navigation platform simplifies healthcare by recommending high-quality providers based on objective and proprietary clinical data. It is also the only platform that can incorporate the complexity of modern employer benefit programs.

Employers face rising healthcare costs, complex benefit plans, and low utilization of specialized solution providers. Employees struggle to know what is covered by their health insurance and how to access programs available to them. Plus, Amino solves the complexity of modern healthcare plans by creating a simple consumer interface that routes more than 10K medical topics to the best provider, facility, or employer program.

Amino’s AI investments will improve the user experience by offering personalized care recommendations based on a user’s unique care journey. And in the last year alone, Amino’s Product and Clinical teams have seen the benefits of leveraging AI to generate thousands of new care topics. These new topics feature a wider range of users and care needs, including expanded primary care, women’s health, LGBTQ+ health, more complex diseases, and specialized care for all stages of life, such as pediatric and geriatric care.
