AMN Healthcare’s Language Services division announced the acquisition of Jaide Health, an AI-enabled medical interpretation and translation platform designed to improve communication between patients and care teams throughout administrative aspects of the healthcare experience.
The acquisition expands AMN Language Services’ capabilities beyond clinical encounters by providing support before and after care, while maintaining the use of medically qualified human interpreters for clinical, complex, and sensitive conversations. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Jaide Health provides AI-assisted language support for routine verbal exchanges and written translations, including patient intake and discharge information. The technology is designed to address communication gaps that often occur outside physician visits and acute-care interactions, helping reduce delays and improve language access for patients with limited English proficiency.
AMN said the acquisition aligns with its broader strategy to improve access to care and create a more seamless experience for patients and healthcare providers. The company emphasized that human interpreters will continue to play a central role in ensuring accuracy, empathy, and patient safety when conversations involve clinical or complex matters.
Jaide Health’s platform is already being used by clients across multiple healthcare settings, where it has demonstrated value in patient communications and operational workflows.
As part of the transaction, the Jaide Health team will join AMN Healthcare. The companies said the combination of AI-assisted language technology and AMN’s clinical quality standards will enable broader access to communication services for patients outside traditional clinical encounters.
AMN Healthcare provides workforce solutions and technologies to healthcare organizations nationwide. In 2025, the company said its healthcare professionals reached more than 13 million patients across over 2,300 healthcare systems, including 93% of the top healthcare systems in the United States.
