Amplify Technology announced the appointment of Adam Scully-Power as Managing Director of Enterprise Strategy as the company continues expanding its AI-native RIA growth platform and enterprise wealth management capabilities.
Scully-Power will lead Amplify’s enterprise sales organization, bringing nearly three decades of experience spanning investment management, wealth technology, and enterprise strategy. Prior to joining Amplify, he spent 23 years at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he advanced to Senior Investment Director and helped pioneer goals-based investing and multi-asset model portfolios. He later served as Senior Investment Strategist at Brighthouse Financial, working on integrated insurance solutions for a $140 billion platform.
Most recently, Scully-Power served as Managing Director at Nebo Wealth, a GMO company, where he led a goals-based wealth technology platform focused on aligning financial planning with optimized portfolio construction.
Amplify said Scully-Power’s background gives him direct insight into the operational and strategic priorities facing large RIA firms and wealth management enterprises. He holds both CIMA® and CPWA® designations and has worked extensively with firm leadership teams on growth and operational strategy initiatives.
The appointment comes during a period of expansion for Amplify. The company said it currently supports $24.5 billion in platform assets, serving 655 advisors across 39,528 client households. Amplify has also more than doubled its internal team since 2024 and recently added Kim Hill and Jason Rowley to its leadership team.
Amplify said its platform is built on AI-native data lake architecture and combines client onboarding, institutional model marketplaces, UMA household-level trading, client lifecycle management, billing, analytics, surveillance, and performance reporting into a single cloud-based multi-custodial environment.
KEY QUOTES:
“We are building for sophisticated businesses run by people who have spent long careers in this industry. Adam understands the full system, from investments to technology and firm infrastructure connect, and he knows what it takes to grow without losing the unique philosophy that makes a firm great. That perspective is exactly what Amplify’s current stage of growth demands.”
Aaron Brodt, Co-Founder, Amplify
“The most consequential decisions a wealth management firm makes are operational. How a firm is built determines whether it can grow, deliver the client experience at scale and, ultimately, the value of the enterprise. Amplify is the platform I wish existed when I was on the other side of the conversation. I’m here because I believe in what we do for firms who are serious about building something lasting.”
