Amplix has expanded its national technology advisory platform with the acquisition of 24By7Security, a Coral Springs-based cybersecurity consulting and compliance services firm. The deal marks the company’s twelfth acquisition since the platform was formed in 2022 and significantly enhances Amplix’s ability to help clients manage complex and fast-evolving security risks.
Amplix, a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital, supports more than 3,500 clients nationwide with technology strategy, consulting, implementation, and managed services. By integrating 24By7Security’s capabilities, the company plans to offer a broader set of cybersecurity services, spanning program development, risk assessments, compliance, virtual CISO advisory, incident response planning, and managed security operations.
Founded in 2013, 24By7Security provides cybersecurity and compliance solutions across regulated and nonregulated sectors, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and technology. Its services enable organizations to safeguard mission-critical operations, strengthen governance, and meet federal and industry-specific standards, including PCI, HIPAA, NIST, and CMMC.
Amplix said the acquisition will better align cybersecurity strategies with modernization initiatives as enterprises face heightened security threats. The integration also brings 24By7Security’s leadership and staff under the Amplix brand while maintaining continuity for existing customers.
The acquisition complements Gemspring Capital’s ongoing strategy to strengthen Amplix’s advisory and managed services portfolio. Gemspring, which manages $5.1 billion in capital, focuses on middle-market companies across technology, industrial, healthcare, business services, and consumer sectors.
