AMR Clinical announced that it has acquired ClinOhio Research Services, a multi-therapeutic clinical research site based in Columbus, Ohio. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ClinOhio was founded in 2017 and has built a research presence across several therapeutic areas, including dermatology, women’s health, and gastroenterology.
The acquisition expands AMR Clinical’s geographic footprint and strengthens its capabilities in key therapeutic areas.
AMR said ClinOhio brings experienced investigators, strong patient relationships, and a commitment to high-quality clinical research.
The addition also gives AMR greater access to patient populations in the Columbus market while supporting its broader therapeutic expansion strategy.
ClinOhio’s investigators have deep experience in dermatology, women’s health, and gastroenterology, and the site is positioned to expand into additional specialties over time.
By joining AMR, ClinOhio is expected to benefit from AMR’s operational infrastructure, centralized support functions, sponsor relationships, and data capabilities.
AMR said the integration will help support continued growth at the site, expand trial complexity, and improve execution consistency across research programs.
AMR Clinical operates more than 30 clinical research sites and specializes in clinical trials across multiple medical specialties.
The company partners with healthcare providers and sponsors to advance medical research, improve patient outcomes, and support high-quality trial execution.
