Amundi has been appointed to manage a €350 million multi-management mandate on behalf of Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR), the French public reinsurance company. The mandate will allocate capital to private equity and private debt investments, further expanding Amundi’s private markets management activities for institutional investors.
According to the company, the mandate also includes an ancillary sub-portfolio that has been created to allow CCR to transfer certain existing assets into the structure alongside the main allocation. The arrangement is designed to provide CCR with a tailored investment solution while consolidating assets within a broader private markets strategy.
Amundi said it was selected due to its experience in multi-management of private assets, its ability to structure customized investment solutions for institutional investors, its proprietary ALTO technology platform, and its longstanding commitment to responsible investment.
The mandate will be managed through Amundi Alpha Associates, the firm’s private markets multi-management platform. The platform consists of a team of approximately 80 specialists and manages more than €20 billion in assets.
The company noted that institutional investors are increasingly allocating capital to private assets as part of diversified portfolios while maintaining high standards around responsible investment and governance.
