Anduril Industries announced it has reached an agreement to acquire ExoAnalytic Solutions, a national security company focused on space domain awareness and missile defense, in a move aimed at accelerating the company’s capabilities in monitoring and defending assets in orbit.
The acquisition is expected to significantly expand Anduril’s space defense capabilities by integrating ExoAnalytic’s technology, sensor infrastructure, and analytics with Anduril’s autonomy and command-and-control systems. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ExoAnalytic Solutions has spent nearly two decades developing software and analytics for classified national security space programs and missile defense systems. The company operates the world’s largest commercial telescope network, with more than 400 systems deployed globally to track objects in orbit and provide persistent monitoring of the space environment.
Anduril said integrating ExoAnalytic’s capabilities will strengthen its work supporting national security space customers by enhancing sensing, tracking, and battle management systems used to maintain situational awareness across the space domain.
The acquisition will also combine ExoAnalytic’s modeling, simulation, and tracking algorithms with Anduril’s software-defined autonomy platform and command-and-control technologies. The combined capabilities are intended to help the U.S. and allied forces maintain a strategic advantage in space operations as the domain becomes increasingly contested and congested.
Anduril noted that the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals.
