AngioDynamics appointed Eric Honroth as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors, effective November 2, 2026. Honroth will succeed Jim Clemmer, who is retiring after 10 years as President and CEO.

Clemmer will leave the board on November 2 but remain with the medical technology company in a consulting capacity to support the transition.

The appointment follows a board-led search focused on identifying a leader with medical technology experience, commercial execution capabilities, and a record of improving operational performance.

Honroth brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across medical devices and life sciences.

His industry experience spans cardiovascular, endovascular, urology, and oncology markets, aligning closely with AngioDynamics’ portfolio.

Most recently, Honroth served as Global President of Life Science at Getinge.

He previously led Getinge’s approximately $1.2 billion North American business.

During his tenure, Honroth worked on accelerating growth, expanding revenue, developing new products, managing the company’s portfolio, and strengthening commercial operations.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Abbott Vascular, Becton Dickinson, CareFusion, and Boston Scientific.

His experience includes responsibility for large commercial organizations and global operations across both revenue growth and cost management.

AngioDynamics said Honroth will build on the company’s recent transformation and focus on sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term shareholder value.

The company highlighted the strength of its growing Med Tech segment, differentiated technology portfolio, and debt-free balance sheet as foundations for the next phase of its strategy.
