Anthropic has completed a Series F fundraising of $13 billion led by ICONIQ. This funding values Anthropic at $183 billion post-money. Along with ICONIQ, the round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Significant investors in this round include Altimeter, Baillie Gifford, affiliated funds of BlackRock, Blackstone, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, General Atlantic, General Catalyst, GIC, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Insight Partners, Jane Street, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Qatar Investment Authority, TPG, T. Rowe Price Associates, T. Rowe Price Investment Management, WCM Investment Management, and XN. Anthropic has seen rapid growth since the launch of Claude in March 2023.
In early 2025, less than two years after its launch, Anthropic experienced incredible growth, with its run-rate revenue soaring to approximately $1 billion. Just a few months later, by August 2025, this figure had skyrocketed to over $5 billion. This rapid expansion made Anthropic one of the fastest-growing technology companies in history, a testament to the company’s innovative spirit and dedication.
The remarkable trajectory the company has been on has been driven by a team of leading technical talent, who constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible. A focus on safety and reliability, coupled with pioneering research in areas like alignment and interpretability, forms the backbone of the performance and trustworthiness of its models. Every day, more businesses, developers, and passionate users rely on Claude to help solve complex problems and tackle challenging projects.
Anthropic now serves over 300,000 business customers, a number that continues to grow rapidly. The count of large accounts—those bringing in over $100,000 in run-rate revenue—has increased nearly sevenfold in just the past year, reflecting a broad and deepening trust.
The company’s platform caters to a wide range of users, from companies integrating powerful AI capabilities into their critical applications with a straightforward API and industry-specific products, to developers who have favored Claude Code since its full launch in May 2025. Claude Code, in particular, has seen outstanding success, quickly generating over $500 million in run-rate revenue with usage expanding more than tenfold within just three months.
For individual users, the Pro and Max plans for Claude offer enhanced AI functions that assist with everyday tasks and more specialized projects, making AI accessible and useful in daily life. Looking ahead, the Series F investment will help us expand capacity to meet growing enterprise demand, deepen safety and research efforts, and support international expansion plans. The company’s goal remains to build AI that is not only powerful but also reliable, interpretable, and steerable.
