Anthropic announced a new agreement with Google and Broadcom to secure multiple gigawatts of next-generation Tensor Processing Unit capacity, significantly expanding its artificial intelligence infrastructure. The compute capacity is expected to begin coming online in 2027 and will support the continued development and deployment of Anthropic’s Claude AI models.

The agreement marks Anthropic’s largest compute commitment to date and reflects accelerating demand for its AI services. The company said its run-rate revenue has surpassed $30 billion in 2026, up sharply from approximately $9 billion at the end of 2025. It also noted that the number of enterprise customers spending more than $1 million annually has doubled in recent months to over 1,000.

The majority of the new infrastructure will be located in the United States, building on Anthropic’s previously announced commitment to invest $50 billion in American AI infrastructure. The partnership also deepens Anthropic’s existing relationships with Google Cloud and Broadcom, while complementing its multi-platform approach that includes hardware from Amazon Web Services and NVIDIA.

Anthropic emphasized that its ability to run models across multiple hardware platforms enables improved performance and resilience for customers. The company continues to position Claude as a leading frontier AI model available across major cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
