ANV Group Holdings has completed its acquisition of Open Lending, adding insurance-backed lending enablement and risk analytics to its specialty insurance platform. The deal received all required regulatory approvals after initially being announced on June 16, 2026.
Open Lending is now a privately held company. Financial terms were not disclosed in the completion announcement.
Founded more than 20 years ago, Open Lending helps banks, credit unions and other financial institutions extend automotive credit using proprietary risk decisioning technology and insurance-backed loan protection.
Its solutions include loan analytics, risk-based pricing, credit risk models and default insurance.
The acquisition expands ANV’s strategy of developing specialty underwriting businesses and adds a lending enablement platform that complements its existing insurance capabilities.
ANV and Open Lending plan to combine their expertise to help financial institutions manage credit risk, increase automotive lending and expand consumer access to financing.
Open Lending CEO Jessica Buss is expected to continue leading the business as part of ANV.
ANV operates as an independent insurance intermediary platform across the U.S., U.K. and Europe and owns a portfolio of specialist managing general agents.
