ANV Group Holdings Ltd., a global insurance intermediary platform, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Iris Insurance Brokers Ltd., subject to regulatory approval, with the transaction expected to close in Q2 2026.
The acquisition is designed to strengthen ANV’s distribution capabilities in the United Kingdom while expanding its ability to launch and scale managing general agents, or MGAs. Iris provides access to the UK retail market through its Blink platform and operates an MGA incubation business that aligns with ANV’s strategy of supporting startup MGAs.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in London, Iris operates across three core segments. Its Lloyd’s wholesale brokerage business specializes in placing reinsurance capacity for brokers, MGAs, and Lloyd’s coverholders. Blink Intermediary Solutions delivers bespoke distribution services and insurance products to retail brokers across the UK. Vivid Underwriters, launched in 2025, serves as an MGA and team incubation platform, with its first MGA introduced in December 2025 focused on high-volume digital distribution.
ANV said the transaction will enhance its access to Lloyd’s markets and enable broader product distribution, while also providing a platform to scale teams and accelerate MGA development in the UK.
Iris employs approximately 40 people and operates offices in London and Southend.
