Anyformat has secured a €3.3 million seed round led by Kibo Ventures, with additional participation from 4Founders, Abac Nest Ventures, and Decelera Ventures. All three funds were also part of the company’s earlier financing. The Madrid-based startup, which specializes in generative AI for extracting and structuring complex document data, plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development, expand its engineering capabilities, and strengthen its commercial presence across Europe.
The company is building a new generation of document-processing infrastructure that enables organizations to analyze contracts, invoices, emails, and presentations with human-level accuracy at machine speed. Anyformat says its platform maintains strict data-sovereignty and privacy controls, an increasingly important requirement for corporations and public institutions. Its technology has already been deployed by customers such as the Singapore Government, L’Oréal Group, and IAG Group, serving as early validation of its ability to operate in large-scale, high-complexity environments.
Since raising €520,000 in June 2025, Anyformat has expanded significantly beyond traditional document extraction. According to the company, it is now the only platform capable of combining extracted document information with a customer’s proprietary internal databases in real time. This capability allows companies to automatically analyze unstructured documents while cross-referencing the content with internal sources such as customer data, policies, catalogs, or historical records.
For large organizations that manage fragmented systems and large volumes of paperwork, this approach removes the need for manual validation, reduces operational errors, and accelerates core business functions. Dell Technologies recently reported that 68 percent of Spanish companies struggle to convert their data into actionable real-time insights, a gap Anyformat aims to close.
The company expects to surpass €1 million in annual recurring revenue in 2026, driven by a combination of market expansion, rising demand for automated compliance and advanced document processing, and increasing adoption of generative AI in enterprise workflows. Anyformat is continuing to refine its technology to convert any file into structured data suitable for analytics, business intelligence, and operational applications, while maintaining strict privacy and security standards.
The fresh capital will support the hiring of engineers, product specialists, and a dedicated sales team focused on Spain and the broader European Union. Anyformat also plans to enhance its proprietary error-detection technology and pursue certifications such as ISO 27001, which are critical for serving global corporations and public-sector clients.
