Apex Fintech Solutions has launched API technology enabling financial services companies to offer Kalshi-powered prediction markets directly through their own platforms.
The turnkey infrastructure enables firms to offer event contract trading without developing their own Futures Commission Merchant infrastructure or establishing direct exchange connectivity. tastytrade is the first firm live on the platform.
Through the integration, customers can trade contracts based on real-world events including economic indicators, financial markets, weather, sports, and cultural events.
Apex handles FCM operations, clearing, segregated custody, money movement, statements, and account administration, while Kalshi provides its regulated prediction market exchange and event contracts.
The platform connects through Apex’s existing AscendOS APIs for order management, market data, and position tracking. Apex said the integration can reduce development timelines from months to weeks.
Prediction market positions can also appear alongside traditional securities within a customer’s existing portfolio rather than requiring a separate application.
Other functionality includes nearly continuous trading access and automated settlement of winning contracts.
Kalshi is the first prediction market venue connected to Apex’s new platform. Apex plans to add additional venues and capabilities over time through the same AscendOS connection.
The strategy could substantially lower the technical barrier for brokerage and fintech platforms that want to add prediction markets without building the specialized clearing and regulatory infrastructure themselves.
KEY QUOTES:
“Investors want to trade on direct events, not proxies. Through our platform, clients can now offer Kalshi’s event contracts with ease, no FCM buildout, no lengthy development cycles, no separate platform to manage. We’ve cleared the path. Now firms can move with more velocity.”
Travis McGhee, Global Head of Digital Markets at Apex Fintech Solutions
“Apex’s infrastructure opens the door for more firms to offer Kalshi markets to their customers. By removing the technical barriers that have historically limited access, this integration helps bring prediction markets to a broader audience of investors who want to trade on the events shaping the world around them.”
Max Crowley, Vice President of Business Development at Kalshi
