Apollo Care, a provider of patient access, affordability and analytics solutions, has acquired eStrat, a copay and patient access solutions company known for designing and running copay programs for pharmaceutical manufacturers across multiple therapeutic areas. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal expands Apollo Care’s copay and patient affordability offerings and brings eStrat’s team into the business to support continuity for existing clients. Apollo Care said the combination is intended to enable faster program launches, more seamless execution, and closer integration between patient access operations and analytics—aimed at improving patient access while helping manufacturers manage gross-to-net performance.
As part of the acquisition, eStrat co-founder Trond Waerness is joining Apollo Care’s leadership team. Apollo Care said Waerness will add copay program management expertise and strengthen the company’s commercial experience as it scales services for pharmaceutical brand clients.
