Apollo Global Management has partnered with Intercontinental Exchange to launch ICE Private Credit Intelligence, a new data infrastructure platform designed to enhance transparency, standardization, and analytics across the rapidly growing private credit market.
The initiative positions Apollo as an anchor partner in the platform, which aims to address longstanding challenges in private credit related to fragmented data, limited pricing visibility, and inconsistent reporting standards. The platform will enable secure, permissioned data sharing while supporting scalable distribution of deal-level information across market participants.
ICE Private Credit Intelligence is intended to replicate elements of public credit market infrastructure, offering standardized datasets and facilitating improved access to performance analytics and pricing insights over time. The platform will leverage Intercontinental Exchange’s technology stack to extract key data from deal documents and distribute it in a consistent and secure format.
The launch comes as private credit has grown into a multi-trillion-dollar asset class, driven by institutional demand and increased adoption among corporate borrowers. However, the supporting data infrastructure has lagged behind, prompting calls for greater transparency and more robust market tools.
Apollo has been actively expanding its role in private credit markets, including efforts to introduce more frequent pricing updates and support secondary trading activity. The firm noted that its trading initiatives have already facilitated significant transaction volume, reflecting broader momentum toward institutionalization of the asset class.
Intercontinental Exchange expects to onboard additional originators, asset managers, and capital markets participants in the coming months as the platform expands its capabilities and adoption.

“As private credit continues to scale, the next phase of the market’s evolution will require stronger infrastructure and more standardized data that enables market participants to own and transact in private credit in a way that mirrors the public credit experience. Working with Intercontinental Exchange to develop the foundational data layer that the market has historically lacked is an important step toward improving transparency, enabling more efficient market activity and supporting the continued maturation of private credit.”
