Apollo.io, an AI-native go-to-market platform, announced the appointment of Phil Moon as Chief Financial Officer as the company continues its rapid growth and enterprise expansion efforts.
In his new role, Moon will oversee Apollo’s global finance organization, including financial strategy, planning, accounting, and investor readiness. The company said the appointment is designed to strengthen its executive leadership team as it scales its AI-powered platform and expands further into the enterprise market.
Moon joins Apollo with extensive experience helping technology companies navigate periods of high growth. Most recently, he served as CFO at Homebase, where he helped guide the company through significant expansion. Before that, he was VP of Finance and interim CFO at Growth Collaborative, where he played a key role in the company’s public offering. Earlier in his career, Moon held finance leadership positions at Square and worked in investment banking and investing roles at Morgan Stanley, TPG, and Empyrean Capital Partners.
The appointment comes during a period of strong momentum for Apollo. Over the past year, the company reported 400% growth in enterprise accounts while continuing to enhance its unified platform, which combines proprietary data, AI-powered prospecting, engagement workflows, sequencing capabilities, and execution tools.
Apollo said it now supports more than 600,000 companies and 4 million users globally. The company also noted that revenue has increased more than fivefold since its Series D financing round.
