Appficiency, a global IT consulting firm and software business focused on AI-powered enterprise digital transformation, has received a minority equity investment from Canadian Business Growth Fund (CBGF) to support expansion and product innovation.
Founded in 2014, Appficiency works with enterprise clients across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Asia Pacific, providing implementation, optimization, integrations, managed services, and custom application development. The company said the new capital will help broaden its service portfolio across Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft, and other platforms, while adding AI Enablement Consulting and Rapid Assessment offerings to improve technology ROI.
Appficiency also highlighted AskCipher, an AI-powered interface designed to enable natural-language, multi-system workflows across business applications. The company said the tool learns organizational policies to enforce governance and continuously improve, with the goal of helping enterprises get more value from existing technology stacks.
The announcement also highlighted recent momentum, including Appficiency’s 2025 designation as Oracle NetSuite’s Canadian Alliance Partner of the Year. The company said it plans to use the investment to pursue larger, more complex engagements and to expand through strategic acquisitions.
