Apple (AAPL) Hires Stella Low As Communications Head

Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) has hired Stella Low as the new vice president of worldwide corporate communications, according to BuzzFeed News. Low was formerly the communications head at Cisco. This role at Apple has not been filled since 2019. Low will be reporting directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook.

“Stella brings her remarkable experience and leadership to Apple’s world-class communications teams. Apple has an important story to tell — from the transformative products and services we make, to the positive impacts we have on our communities and the world — and Stella is a great leader to help us write the next chapter,” said Apple in a statement.

Low is going to be succeeding Steve Dowling, who worked as the head of corporate public relations at Apple for 10 years and the VP of communications for 5 years. Prior to Low joining Apple, Apple Fellow Phil Schiller has been heading up public relations at the company since Dowling stepped down.
