Apple reportedly informed some of its contract manufacturing partners to boost production outside of China due to several reasons including strict anti-COVID and regulation policies. Some other potential locations include India and Vietnam.
Currently, Apple builds over 90% of its major products in China. And last month, Apple forecasted larger supply chain bottlenecks as COVID-19 lockdowns have been slowing down production and demand in China.
