And existing investors Silverton Partners and Hemi Ventures also participated in this round.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with the leader in AR and AI,” added Pritzker Group Venture Capital VP Peter Liu, vice president in a statement. “Angelo and his team of experts have a clear vision for what will be the next generation of enterprise AR. It was among the many reasons we were eager to invest at this stage.”

Apprentice.io has established itself in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. And Apprentice.io has become a premier solution for tech transfer, direct SME support, R&D workflows, training procedures, augmented batch records, instant troubleshooting, etc.

Technicians often use Apprentice’s user interface to access complex procedures and visualize 3-D technique demonstration.

Apprentice is also utilizing the new ARKit 2 platform that shipped with iOS 12 along with ARCore for Android-based devices to develop augmented reality environments. And for hands-free immersive augmented reality experiences, Apprentice also built a platform while utilizing HoloLens and Magic Leap devices along with monocular smart glasses like the RealWear HMT-1.

“We like to say that we don’t just augment reality; we augment human ability,” said Apprentice.io co-founder and CEO Angelo Stracquatanio in a statement. “AR and AI are changing the way workforces across all industries solve problems and share information, ushering in the next wave of human potential.”

With this round of funding, Apprentice is looking to change the way humans work. The company is also planning to make significant developments in new products and features, intelligent responses, and grow international partnerships.
