Aprio, the 20th largest business advisory and accounting firm in the United States, announced the acquisition of Philadelphia-area accounting and advisory firm Isdaner & Company. The transaction became effective on June 1, 2026, and strengthens Aprio’s presence in the greater Philadelphia market while expanding its ability to provide accounting, advisory, audit, and tax services to businesses and families throughout the Northeast.

Founded in 1967 and based in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, Isdaner & Company has built a longstanding reputation serving closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and organizations across the Delaware Valley. The firm employs more than 70 professionals and offers services including accounting and auditing, tax planning, trust and estate services, business consulting, and litigation support. Its expertise spans industries such as real estate, manufacturing, nonprofit organizations, family offices, and high-net-worth advisory services.

As part of the acquisition, Isdaner & Company Managing Partner Scott Isdaner and the firm’s 10-partner team will join Aprio. The addition expands Aprio’s existing Philadelphia operations and enhances its capabilities to serve clients across the broader Northeast region.

The acquisition represents another step in Aprio’s ongoing growth strategy. Recent expansion initiatives have included the acquisition of Price Kong in Phoenix, the acquisition of CAVU Advisors in Columbia, Maryland, expansion into Portland, Oregon, the addition of a dedicated State and Local Tax team in Denver, and the launch of Aprio Global to support clients with international tax, accounting, and advisory needs.

Aprio currently employs more than 3,200 professionals, serves clients in more than 50 countries, and oversees $5.5 billion in assets under management through its advisory businesses.
