Aptean announced that it has acquired ROTOR Software GmbH, a provider of dealer management solutions for the motorists, agricultural, and construction machinery sectors in the DACH market.
The acquisition expands Aptean’s presence in the DACH region and strengthens its portfolio of purpose-built dealer management solutions for machinery dealers, repair shops, and related businesses.
Based in St. Ingbert, Germany, ROTOR provides integrated ERP and dealer management systems that connect sales, service, and rental processes. Its platform is designed to help customers manage complex workflows, improve communication, optimize operations, and maintain control over equipment sales and rental lifecycles.
ROTOR was founded in 2021 through the merger of SEWiGA Software-Team GmbH and Orbis Software GmbH. The company has more than 1,000 customers and over 30 years of market experience through its ORSwin and WinMLB product lines.
Aptean said ROTOR will support its strategy to expand dealer management capabilities for new and existing customers, especially across the machinery dealer market.
