Aranya Raises $11 Million To Scale AI Infrastructure Platform

Aranya has secured $11 million in funding, split between a $9 million seed round and an earlier $2 million pre-seed round. First Round Capital, a well-known venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments, led the seed round. It also attracted participation from other notable investors, including BoxGroup, Vermilion Cliffs, and Asylum Ventures. The pre-seed round also drew respected investors, including Founder Collective, Parable VC, and Uncommon Ventures.

Aranya specializes in transforming raw bare-metal servers into customized, production-ready compute clusters, often in less than 48 hours. This capability is particularly beneficial for providers focusing on AI inference, as well as startups and data centers that require rapid deployment of scalable resources. Remarkably, the company has managed to take on the responsibility of overseeing more than $500 million worth of GPUs—an impressive milestone achieved in less than a year since its establishment.

A significant part of Aranya’s technology foundation is its open-source clusterdOS, built on Kubernetes. This innovative operating system converts bare-metal servers into self-healing, enterprise-grade clusters, improving reliability and performance for clients.

In a compelling case study with Hydra Host, Aranya demonstrated its efficiency by cutting cluster deployment time from an arduous six weeks to an astonishing 48 hours. In addition to expediting deployment, this innovative approach led to a remarkable 90% decrease in system outages, showcasing Aranya’s potential to enhance operational resilience.

The recent financing round will play a crucial role in propelling the company’s growth. It is earmarked for expanding its customer base, accelerating hiring efforts, and fostering the development of Aranya’s cutting-edge AI-native multicluster interface, which aims to further streamline cluster management and elevate user experience.
