Arbour Lane Capital Management — a private registered investment adviser focused primarily on opportunistic credit and special situation investments — announced it has closed its second fund on its $1.2 billion hard cap. This is a significant jump from its $750 million target.

The Arbour Lane Credit Opportunity Fund II focuses on senior secured debt and first-lien securities. The fund focuses on secured bank loans in mid-size structures and out of favor investments at the top of the capital structure, primarily senior secured debt and/or other first lien securities. And Arbour Lane capitalizes on its management team’s experience of credit investing and managing risk for over 20 years.

Arbour Lane Capital was launched in April 2016 by Robert Franz, Ken Hoffman and Dan Galanter. Along with managing the Arbour Lane sponsored investment vehicles, the firm also acts as an adviser to Sixth Street Partners (formerly “TSSP”) in relation to a $1.3 billion portfolio of assets that it purchased in 2016.
