Archera has raised $15 million in Series C funding to expand its insurance-backed cloud commitment platform as the company surpasses approximately $5.6 billion in annual cloud and AI spending under management. The round was led by Pivot Investment Partners, with participation from existing investors including HighSage Ventures. The financing brings Archera’s total funding to $38.3 million.
Archera provides businesses with cloud cost optimization tools and Guaranteed Commitments designed to reduce the financial risk associated with long-term cloud infrastructure contracts.
The company has delivered more than $700 million in savings to over 2,200 organizations, including PubNub, Art.com, and Astronomer.
Its platform analyzes billing data from AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud and recommends both native cloud commitments and Archera Guaranteed Commitments.
Archera’s model is intended to address unpredictable cloud usage, particularly as AI workloads can cause GPU and infrastructure demand to increase or decrease rapidly.
Guaranteed Commitments can carry terms as short as 30 days. If covered usage declines and a commitment goes unused, Archera addresses eligible costs under the terms of its guarantee.
Archera has purchased a surplus-lines insurance policy from Crum & Forster Specialty Insurance Company to back the guarantee.
The company plans to use its Series C funding to expand go-to-market activities, build its global partner network across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Latin America, and serve more organizations operating AI workloads.
Archera was founded in 2019 by Aran Khanna and Nikhil Khanna.

“That’s a new way to purchase cloud, not another dashboard, and it’s why we’ve been able to return $700 million to our customers.”
Aran Khanna, Co-Founder And CEO Of Archera
