Arctos, a private investment firm offering tailored growth and liquidity solutions for sports franchises and alternative asset managers, has appointed Thad Sheely as an Operating Partner.
Operating Partners at Arctos provide strategic advice and industry expertise to the firm and its portfolio franchises. In this role, Sheely will use his extensive experience in sports and real estate to enhance Arctos’ value creation efforts and assist franchise partners with complex initiatives.
With over two decades in developing and financing sports facilities, Sheely will continue to advise the Washington Commanders on their new stadium search, including a proposed venue and mixed-use project at the former RFK Stadium site. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the Atlanta Hawks, leading a successful $200 million renovation of State Farm Arena, and has held executive positions with Related Companies, the New York Jets, and the Miami Heat.
