TrueNoord, a specialist regional aircraft lessor, has announced that infrastructure investor Arcus Infrastructure Partners has entered into definitive documentation to acquire approximately 74% of the business, with founding investor Freshstream agreeing to reinvest to retain the remaining 26%. The transaction marks a significant ownership transition for TrueNoord as it enters its next phase of growth, backed by stable, long-term infrastructure capital.
TrueNoord has grown over nearly a decade from a fleet of three aircraft into one of the world’s largest pure-play regional aircraft lessors, building a global leased fleet of Embraer, ATR, Airbus, and De Havilland Canada jets and turboprops. The company provides critical connectivity across dozens of cities and nations worldwide. The new capital structure will underpin future aircraft portfolio acquisitions and broader fleet expansion.
Arcus Infrastructure Partners is a specialist infrastructure investor with deep experience in the transport sector. Freshstream, the founding investor, has backed TrueNoord since its inception and will remain a shareholder following the transaction. Previous investors included BlackRock and Patria. The transaction is subject to customary conditions with closing expected in approximately two months.
