Ares Management Corporation has appointed Sarah Cole as Partner and Co-Head of the Ares Global Capital Solutions team, joining current Co-Head Roshan Chagan.
In her new role, Cole will enhance Ares’ strategic relationships within the banking, insurance, and capital markets sectors. She will work with senior leaders to leverage Ares’ underwriting and financing capabilities to identify new investment opportunities. Together, Cole and Chagan will centralize Ares’ capital market activities to improve strategic value for counterparty partners.
Cole previously served as a Managing Director at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), where she oversaw strategic relationships and expanded private credit deployment. Previously, she served as a Managing Director at Barclays in the Structured Credit group, where she worked on the High Yield team at Goldman Sachs. Cole holds a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
