Argano, a global specialist consultancy focused on high-performance business operations and AI-driven transformation, announced the acquisition of American Process Management (APM), a consulting firm specializing in project controls and capital program oversight for asset-intensive industries.

The transaction marks Argano’s eleventh acquisition since launching its 2025 to 2026 strategic growth initiative, and its twenty-seventh acquisition overall since the company’s founding in 2020. The move is aimed at strengthening Argano’s capabilities in supporting organizations managing large-scale, complex capital programs where cost certainty, schedule integrity, and execution accountability are critical.

Founded in 2016, American Process Management operates as an embedded partner for enterprises executing multi-year capital projects, including power generation, steel manufacturing, and utility infrastructure. The firm provides oversight across cost forecasting, schedule governance, and performance measurement, working within enterprise systems such as Oracle Primavera P6 and SAP to maintain visibility and control over large construction efforts.

With the addition of APM, Argano enhances its ability to deliver disciplined execution and governance for capital-intensive initiatives, helping clients improve transparency, maintain schedule adherence, and manage financial performance across large programs.

Advisors on the deal included Bass, Berry & Sims PLC as legal advisor to Argano, Ernst & Young for financial diligence, and Tenet Partners as exclusive financial advisor to American Process Management.

KEY QUOTES:

“APM strengthens Argano’s ability to support organizations responsible for delivering some of the most capital-intensive initiatives in the economy. APM’s focus on execution governance and embedded delivery aligns closely with the needs of asset-heavy enterprises, where performance, predictability, and accountability matter as much as strategy. Together, we can help clients bring greater discipline, transparency, and confidence to the delivery of their most critical capital programs.”

Chip Register, Group CEO of Argano

“For more than a decade, APM has helped clients manage the realities of large capital programs by staying close to the work and the outcomes. Joining Argano allows us to continue operating in that role while giving our clients access to a broader transformation platform that supports their long-term operational objectives.”
