ArgusEye, a provider of AI-powered threat modeling technology for connected device manufacturers, has appointed three new members to its Advisory Board as it looks to deepen its work across critical infrastructure, consumer products, and healthcare.

The company said the new advisors are Jane Holl Lute, a former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security; Eric Byres, an industrial control systems security expert and inventor of the Tofino Security firewall; and Joern Lubadel, an executive focused on medical device security. ArgusEye positioned the appointments as a strategic step to support growth as manufacturers face rising regulatory expectations, pointing to the EU Cyber Resilience Act and U.S. Food and Drug Administration mandates as increasing pressure for security and compliance earlier in product development.

ArgusEye’s core pitch is that threat modeling and risk assessment must move faster and become more continuous as hardware and software release cycles accelerate. The company says its platform generates compliance-ready threat models in minutes by automatically identifying systemic weaknesses across engineering artifacts, aiming to help engineering and security teams integrate security into development workflows rather than relying on slower, manual review processes.

In describing the value of the new board members, ArgusEye emphasized their combined experience across government, industrial cybersecurity, and medical device security. The company said the group will provide guidance as it scales adoption among connected device makers, particularly in regulated industries where security documentation and proof of diligence are increasingly required.

KEY QUOTES

Jackson Schultz, Chief Executive Officer, ArgusEye

“Governments have finally begun to require greater security before products are deployed. ArgusEye meets this challenge with advanced threat modeling tailorable down to the component level.”

Jane Holl Lute, Former U.S. Deputy Secretary Of Homeland Security; Former Chief Executive Officer, Center For Internet Security

“Before this, threat modeling was the colonoscopy of new product development: slow, painful, yet essential. Now, with ArgusEye’s Sentry, continuous threat modeling is so simple, it’s practically mandatory.”

Eric Byres, ICS Security Expert; Inventor, Tofino Security Firewall

“Healthcare thrives when security moves in step with the systems it protects. With continuous risk assessment, we can anticipate threats and close gaps early.”
