Aria Networks, an artificial intelligence networking startup, announced it has raised $125 million in its first funding round as it looks to build infrastructure tailored for the growing demands of AI workloads, according to a report via Reuters.

Founded in 2025, the company is focused on developing AI-native networking systems designed to support the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence applications and data center capacity requirements. The funding round includes backing from Sutter Hill Ventures, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and Eclipse Ventures.

Aria Networks said its platform is designed to be compatible with a wide range of AI chips, including those from Nvidia and Google, enabling customers to upgrade or switch hardware without overhauling their networking infrastructure.

The company also introduced what it describes as an “AI-native network,” built to improve efficiency and reduce costs for AI data centers. A key focus of the platform is “token efficiency,” which measures how effectively a data center converts computing resources into usable AI output.

Proceeds from the funding will be used to further develop Aria’s “Networks that Think” approach, which aims to create intelligent networking systems that dynamically adapt to AI workloads.

As part of the investment, Atreides Management managing partner Gavin Baker has joined the company’s board, alongside Stefan Dyckerhoff of Sutter Hill Ventures and Aria’s founding team.

Aria Networks said it already has customer orders and is actively deploying its technology, signaling early market traction as enterprises seek more efficient infrastructure to support increasingly complex AI models.
