Arlo Solutions has named Venice M. Goodwine as its Chief Information Officer and AI Product Owner, effective January 2, 2026, as the Washington, DC-based government contractor looks to expand its enterprise technology leadership alongside data and artificial intelligence initiatives supporting mission-focused federal customers.
In the dual role, Goodwine is expected to guide Arlo’s enterprise technology strategy, drive digital transformation priorities, and help shape product development efforts tied to cybersecurity, data modernization, and AI-enabled capabilities. She will report to Chief Executive Officer Lonye Ford, according to the company.
Goodwine joins Arlo with more than three decades of information technology experience spanning private industry, military service, and federal government leadership. She previously served as Chief Information Officer for the Department of the Air Force as a member of the Senior Executive Service, overseeing enterprise IT, cybersecurity, data, and AI operations across the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. In that position, she supported a global workforce of more than 20,000 cyber operations and IT professionals and managed a $17 billion portfolio.
Before her Air Force CIO role, Goodwine served as Chief Information Security Officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she led efforts to strengthen the agency’s security posture and consolidate security operations. The company said her work included improving the agency’s FITARA cyber score and building a unified security operations center from a previously fragmented structure.
Arlo’s leadership framed the appointment as a move to deepen the firm’s technology execution and support responsible growth as it continues work with government clients. The company also highlighted Goodwine’s track record in national security and technology leadership, citing a range of industry and government honors, including a Presidential Rank Award (Meritorious) and multiple leadership awards tied to public-private collaboration.
Goodwine’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Maryland and an MBA from William Carey College, along with additional education in cybersecurity, national security, artificial intelligence, and technology.
Arlo Solutions is an SBA 8(a)- certified, woman-owned small business founded in 2014 and headquartered in Washington, DC.
