Arlo Technologies announced it has acquired Aloe Care Health, an AI-powered medical alert and fall prevention platform, expanding its SaaS offering into the growing market for aging-in-place and wellness care.

The acquisition positions Arlo to address the rapidly expanding population of adults aged 65 and older, a demographic segment that is among the fastest-growing globally. With more than 6 million paid accounts, Arlo is leveraging its existing platform to extend beyond home security into healthcare-adjacent services that support independent living.

Aloe Care Health brings a suite of AI-driven capabilities, including fall detection, ambient sensing, emergency response coordination, and a caregiver-focused mobile platform. These features are designed to improve patient outcomes, enhance care coordination, and reduce hospitalizations through proactive monitoring and real-time insights.

By integrating Aloe Care’s technology with its own AI-powered, privacy-focused SaaS platform, Arlo aims to deliver a comprehensive solution that connects patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. The combined platform will enable more efficient care delivery and support a shift toward home-based health management.

The move aligns with Arlo’s broader strategy to expand into high-growth markets and capitalize on increasing demand for smart home healthcare solutions, a sector expected to see significant global growth in the coming years.
