Armstrong World Industries announced it has acquired Eventscape, a design and fabrication company recognized for delivering complex, design-driven architectural environments. The transaction strengthens Armstrong’s architectural specialties portfolio and expands its custom design and fabrication capabilities across commercial building projects.

Eventscape, headquartered in Toronto with a presence in New York City, specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of high-design architectural features for applications including ceilings, feature walls and facades. The company provides turnkey services spanning concept development through final installation, leveraging advanced parametric modelling and fabrication technologies.

The acquisition builds on Armstrong’s prior expansion into custom design leadership, following earlier acquisitions of Zahner, Arktura, Turf and 3form. By integrating Eventscape’s engineering and fabrication expertise with its existing architectural specialty solutions, Armstrong aims to enhance collaboration with architects and designers from early-stage concepts through project execution.

Founded in 1999, Eventscape employs approximately 150 professionals, including architects, industrial and interior designers, engineers and specialized fabricators. The company operates a headquarters, design studio and fabrication facility in Toronto, along with a showroom and fabrication facility in New York. In 2025, Eventscape generated approximately $30 million in revenue.

Armstrong World Industries reported $1.4 billion in revenue in 2024 and employs approximately 4,000 people. The company operates 24 manufacturing facilities across the Americas, including seven dedicated to its WAVE joint venture.

Support: Armstrong funded the acquisition using a combination of available cash and its revolving credit facility. District Capital Partners served as buy-side adviser on the transaction.
