Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Innovise Business Consultants, an Englewood, Colorado-based commercial insurance brokerage and surety bonding firm formally known as McMillan Insurance & Bonding. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Innovise provides commercial insurance brokerage and surety bonding services, with particular expertise across construction, energy, real estate and manufacturing.
The Innovise team is led by Jason McMillan and will relocate to Gallagher’s Denver office.
The business will operate under the direction of Bret VanderVoort, who leads Gallagher’s Western Zone retail property and casualty brokerage operations.
Gallagher said the acquisition strengthens its presence and industry-specific expertise in Colorado, adding a team with established capabilities in sectors where insurance placement and bonding requirements can be highly specialized.
