Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced it has acquired Cincinnati Benefit Solutions, an Ohio-based employee benefits firm. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Cincinnati Benefit Solutions provides employee benefits services for small businesses in Cincinnati and nearby areas. And the deal expands Gallagher’s small-group benefits consulting capabilities in Ohio.
As part of the acquisition, Drew Locaputo and the Cincinnati Benefit Solutions team will remain in their current location. They will operate under the direction of Brian Lomas, who leads Gallagher’s Great Lakes region employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.
Gallagher, headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, is a global insurance brokerage, risk management, and consulting services firm. The company provides services in about 130 countries through its owned operations and a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
