Artificial Labs, a London-based provider of digital broking and underwriting technology for specialty and commercial insurance, has completed a $45 million Series B funding round as it looks to accelerate growth and expand internationally.

The company said the financing marks a milestone in its push to broaden its global market presence, with plans to significantly scale its headcount, deepen its position in the London Market, and enter the US in 2026.

The round was led by CommerzVentures, with participation from Move Capital Fund I and continued backing from existing investors, including Augmentum Fintech, 6 Degrees Capital, FOM, and TrueSight Ventures. Artificial said it expects to double in size over the next 12 months as it expands teams and product capabilities to support large brokers and carriers in modernizing their operations.

Artificial positions its platform to digitize complex insurance workflows and capture institutional expertise, enabling brokers and carriers to optimize capacity deployment and scale more effectively. The company said the platform integrates with existing systems and is designed to drive efficiency gains across placement and underwriting processes for specialty and commercial insurance markets.
