Arxis Buys Micro-Tronics To Expand Aerospace And Defense Components Platform

Arxis, an Arcline Investment Management portfolio company, has acquired Micro-Tronics, Inc. (MTI), a Tempe, Arizona-based manufacturer of engineered elastomeric and metallic components used in mission-critical commercial aerospace and defense applications.

Founded in 1968, Micro-Tronics supplies complex elastomeric and mechanical components and assemblies where high performance and reliability are required. Its capabilities span materials science-driven elastomeric diaphragm seals and assemblies produced at scale, as well as high-precision electrical discharge machined (EDM) parts used in demanding aerospace and defense programs. Arxis said MTI’s engineering depth, quality culture, and long-standing customer relationships complement its Mechanical Components segment and will enhance its ability to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions.

Micro-Tronics will join the Arxis family with additional resources and scale to continue investing in people and capabilities while supporting customers’ critical applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
