ASA Safety Supply, a specialized distributor of workplace safety products and services, has acquired Indiana Safety & Supply (ISS), a Washington, Indiana-based distributor of personal protective equipment (PPE) and facility safety products. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ISS serves customers throughout Indiana and neighboring states and has built a reputation for delivering a comprehensive range of safety solutions along with strong customer service. The company is led by President and CEO Kevin Bush.
The acquisition expands ASA Safety’s geographic footprint and strengthens its scale in the industrial safety distribution market. ASA Safety is a portfolio company of Trivest Partners LP and is headquartered in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
According to ASA Safety, adding ISS enhances the company’s purchasing scale and supports broader expansion of its private-label safety product offerings across the platform. The deal also increases ASA’s presence in new regional markets while expanding the combined company’s product access and service capabilities.
ISS will continue operating with its leadership team and will benefit from ASA Safety’s broader distribution network, product portfolio, and operational resources. The companies said the combination will create additional growth opportunities for employees while improving service and product availability for customers.
The acquisition adds Indiana Safety & Supply to ASA Safety’s growing family of brands, which includes BHP Safety Supply, Safety Max, Environmental Safety Supply & Rental (ESSR), Clean Coast Supply, and Occupational Fitness (OccuFit).
ASA Safety provides a wide range of industrial safety products and services including hand, eye and face, body, hearing, gas detection, and respiratory protection equipment. The company serves industrial and commercial customers primarily across the Eastern United States and maintains relationships with major safety equipment manufacturers.
The company said it will continue pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions of safety distribution and services businesses across the Southeastern United States as part of its long-term growth strategy.
