Colorado-Based Customer Data Platform Company Ascent360 Raises $4.1 Million

Ascent360, a Golden, Colorado-based software company, announced that it has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding. This round of funding was led by Atlanta-based Fulcrum Equity Partners. And Access Venture Partners, NelNet, Bialla Venture Partners, and Rockies Venture Club also participated in this round.

The funding will be used for product development, expanding sales to a broader market, and scaling up. The company is considered a leader in cloud-based customer data for B2C companies that provides actionable insights.

“This investment will help us extend our software, helping our clients drive revenue and build lasting relationships with their customers,” said Ascent360 chief executive Scott Buelter in a statement. “Our vision is helping drive true one-to-one marketing at an affordable price.  No one else in the market is doing that.”

This past year, Ascent360 doubled its size of the business and the company was named in the Top 50 Best Places to Work by Outside Magazine. Some of the companies clients include Smartwool, Christy Sports, and Alterra Mountain Company.

Known for being a Customer Data Platform (CDP) software platform for small and medium-sized business, Ascent360 facilitates omnichannel marketing enabling the integration of customer data from disparate systems in order to gain a better understanding of purchase trends and customize marketing campaigns. Plus it is used for creating a more targeted customer experience.

Ascent360 is integrated with more than 75 marketing, e-commerce, and point of sale solutions including Facebook, Big Commerce, Live Ramp and SalesForce Commerce Cloud.
