Global law firm Ashurst has announced the appointment of Chihiro Ashizawa as a Partner in its Global Loans & Global Markets practice, effective immediately and based in Tokyo.
Ms Ashizawa is admitted in Japan and brings more than twenty years of experience advising Japanese and international clients on debt offerings, fund structures, and financial services regulation.
Her specialist practice includes advising on equity and debt capital markets (including Samurai bonds), guiding asset managers on fund formation and marketing in Japan, and providing regulatory counsel to financial institution clients expanding into new products.
