Ashurst Perkins Coie has added Daniel Schnapp to its Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising practice within the firm’s Intellectual Property division in New York.
Schnapp brings more than two decades of experience handling high-stakes intellectual property disputes and complex commercial litigation across industries including advertising, media, art, music, technology, financial services and real estate.
His practice includes trade secret misappropriation, copyright and trademark infringement, false advertising, counterfeiting, privacy, defamation and antitrust disputes.
Schnapp regularly serves as first-chair counsel and has been lead counsel in 20 jury, nonjury and arbitration trials. He also advises on government and regulatory investigations involving agencies including the Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, U.S. Department of Labor and National Advertising Division.
Schnapp earned his bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and his Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
